Shashi Tharoor (@ShashiTharoor) Tweeted:

There is much to welcome in what we have seen of the #NewEducationPolicy2020 announced by @DrRPNishank. A number of suggestions made by some of us seem to have been taken into account. However, the question remains why this was not brought before Parliament first for discussion. https://twitter.com/ShashiTharoor/status/1288701498453442561?s=20

Founder and president of Lok satta party and ex member of legislative assembly jp Narayana  happy with the NEP2020 and hopeful for better roadmap of implementation
Jayaprakash Narayan (@JP_LOKSATTA) Tweeted:

#NEP2020 After years of dithering, at last an excellent policy has been approved. There is refreshing recognition of failures & past mistakes, and a genuine roadmap to improve outcomes and equity. If NEP is genuinely implemented, all our children will have a better future. https://twitter.com/JP_LOKSATTA/status/1288753037486387205?s=20

Blogger's note

Even though NEP 2020 was out with the old, in with the new. There are some untouched aspects in educational system like caste based reservation, unbounded fee structures in educational institutions.
